CHICAGO – More than a dozen arrests were made Saturday night after a large group of juveniles gathered in the Loop, leaving many residents to ponder how the city plans to curb such downtown disturbances moving forward.
The chaos started after 9 p.m. near Michigan Avenue and Washington. Fights reportedly broke out in the area and police began crowd control measures.
CHICAGO – A male delivery driver was among two people shot in Chicago’s Back of the Yard neighborhood Sunday night.
Just after 7 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the area of 44th and Ashland. Authorities located a 24-year-old male victim inside a vehicle.
A Christmas tree sits charred Sunday night on the city’s South Side after being vandalized for the third year in a row.
The lighting ceremony for the Washington Park Tree was just Saturday night – before someone set fire to it at the intersection of Garfield and King Drive.
