Uniphar Expects to Meet FY 2022 Organic Profit Growth Guidance – MarketWatch

By Michael Susin
Uniphar PLC said Wednesday that it has performed in line with the board’s view in the first four months of the year, and that it is confident of achieving its medium-term profit growth guidance for fiscal 2022.
The healthcare-services provider said that in fiscal 2021 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose to 86.5 million euros ($91.1 million). Organic gross profit growth was 8.5%, with growth across all divisions, it added.
The company said the acquisition of Navi Group is expected to be completed during the second half of 2022. It is subject to approval by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, which last month said it intends to carry out an investigation in relation to the acquisition, Uniphar said.
Shares at 0733 GMT were up 0.1 pence, or 2.6%, at 3.7 pence.
