On the afternoon of June 23rd, Officers conducted a vehicle stop at the Dollar General store, 2003 South Limit Avenue. A search of the vehicle located methamphetamine, marijuana, and a used hypodermic needle. The driver, George R. Jodon, 50, of Meta Missouri, was arrested for Driving While Suspended, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. The passenger provided a false identity, which was later discovered at the Pettis County Jail. Her true identity showed to have to active warrants for her arrest for Probation Violation on original charges of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failure to Appear on original charges of Defective Equipment. Dianna S. Smith, 48, of Jefferson City, was arrested on the two warrants, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Identity Theft.
 
Monday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of West 14th Street in reference to a follow up investigation. A missing person was located at the residence. The person was removed from the missing persons database.
 
Sedalia Police arrested an individual Monday morning as a result of a Child Abuse investigation at the Police Department. Jourdan D. Diehl, 24, of Sedalia, was placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Abuse of a Child in the 1st Degree.
 
Officers spoke with Caitlyn Carrigan Monday afternoon, as she came to the Police Department to report she had been scammed. Carrigan put a video game system on "market place" for sale and got an offer. The details were set, and Carrigan sent the video game system. The money was never sent to a cash transfer app. Later, it was found that where she had discussed the details on a "Cash transfer App", was a fake site. The victim does want to prosecute, but only has a name the suspect gave her.
 
On the afternoon of June 17th, an Officers initiated a traffic stop on a car near the area of West 15th Street and South Harrison Avenue for speeding. A check through Dispatch showed the driver had two active Pettis County warrants. One was a Probation Violation warrant on original charges of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree, and another was a Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cody Wade Hayworth (the driver), 28, of Sedalia, was arrested on his two warrants with a bond of $2500 cash or surety and $250 cash only. The passenger, Catelyn Skye Montgomery, 21, of Sedalia, was also found to have an active Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Possession of Marijuana with a bond of $251. 50 cash only. The odor of marijuana was also coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was searched, and marijuana was located and seized. Both Hayworth and Montgomery were transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.
 
Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to an accident near the intersection of West 10th Street Thompson Boulevard. A computer check of one of the driver's information revealed that his Missouri driving privileges were suspended. Stephen Lloyd Bunner, 48, of Lincoln, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
 
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 700 block of West 11th Street in reference to a counterfeit bill Monday night. When Officers arrived, they spoke with Daniel Curry. Curry stated he had delivered a pizza to the residence, and realized they had given him a counterfeit bill. Officers made contact at the residence and asked about the bill. Officers were told the person who had paid for the pizza had left. Curry confirmed the person Officers were talking to was not the person who gave him the counterfeit bill. The change was returned to the caller, and the counterfeit bill was confiscated to be placed into evidence.
 
 
Monday evening, Officers were dispatched to a domestic incident that occurred at the Blessed Memories Monument Company, 202 North Engineer Avenue. The caller was located at Raynor Garage Door, 1510 West Main Street. Both parties were spoken to and a primary physical aggressor was determined. Christina Marie Forsee, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in on charges of Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree. Forsee was placed on a 24 hour hold.
 
Last Thursday night, a traffic complaint was called in about a vehicle failing to maintain its lane. The vehicle was located, and Officers observed it failing to maintain its lane. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle on West Broadway Boulevard near State Fair Boulevard. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the driver was intoxicated and had a revoked driving status. Brian Lee Wilson, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Police Department, where he refused to provide a breath sample. A search warrant was obtained, and a blood draw was conducted. Wilson was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Driving While Suspended and Driving While Intoxicated (Persistent Offender).
 
Monday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to LendNation, 818 South Limit Avenue, for a report of the passing of a stolen check. The suspects were identified, but Officers have not been able to make contact with the victim to confirm the check was stolen.
 
Sedalia Police responded to the Probation and Parole Office, 205 Thompson Road, in reference to a warrant check. Latecia F. Hart, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested on an active felony Probation Violation warrant out of Cooper County on original charges of Possession Of a Controlled Substance. The warrant has a bond of $2000 cash and $2500 surety.
 
Monday morning, Officers responded to the intersection of South Engineer Avenue and East 22nd Street in reference to a hit and run accident. The caller noticed that the stop sign at the corner had been ran over, and the vehicle had left the scene. There was a license plate left behind at the scene.
 
Officers took a report in reference to a fraudulent order that was placed using Jolynn Fravel's debit card Monday morning. The suspect ordered a bicycle from Wal Mart and had it shipped to a residence in Raytown, Missouri. Fravel was able to cancel the order and was issued a refund.
