New Organic Juice Bar Opens In Darien – Darien, CT Patch

DARIEN, CT — Clean Juice, an organic juice bar franchise offering smoothies and more, will hold its grand opening Saturday, during which the store’s first 50 customers will receive 50 free smoothies for a year.
According to District Manager Victor Rivera, the official opening will begin at 8 a.m. In addition to the 50 free smoothies, the celebration will also feature face painting, gyms offering free memberships, deals on various menu items and more.
“It should be a very big crowd,” Rivera said, “and we’re anticipating to have a very successful grand opening.”

On Monday, the Darien Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting event at the new juice bar, located at 25 Old Kings Highway N in the Goodwives Shopping Center.
First Selectman Monica McNally said she was excited to see Clean Juice officially open this week and join the growing roster of businesses that have opened in town so far this year.
“I actually give a lot of credit to the chamber [of commerce],” McNally said. “I think they’ve provided a very warm, welcoming environment, and we’re excited. We’re seeing a lot more ribbon cuttings and a lot of growth in town.”
Cheryl Williams, who serves as chairman of the board for the chamber, noted Clean Juice’s location in a shopping center with other businesses like Stop and Shop should provide them with a lot of visibility.
“Something like this was just really needed in town,” Williams said, “especially in this part of town, so we’re really happy to see them here and we just wish them success in Darien.”

While Darien is only the second Clean Juice location in Connecticut, Rivera said he plans to open three more Connecticut stores soon but was unable to say exactly where at this time.
Until then, he encouraged anyone interested to give their new Darien store a try.
“I think for anybody that wants to try something new,” River said, “organic is the way to go.”
