BRANDE – Danish fashion company Bestseller has revealed that the first organic cotton crop from its partnership with Pakistan-based denim mill Artistic Milliners has passed the criteria to be certified as in-conversion cotton.
The Milliner Cotton Organic Project, launched a year ago, includes traceability from farm to factory and will supply organic, ethically-sourced cotton for Bestseller’s Jack & Jones brand.
The first crops from the organic farms of Kohlu, Balochistan, in Pakistan have now been harvested – and passed the requirements of the Control Union to be officially certified as in-conversion cotton.
