Clean Juice Cool Springs opened its doors in the Meridian Cool Springs development with a celebratory ribbon cutting on April 7 along with Williamson, Inc.
Clean Juice offers 100% USDA-certified organic smoothies, juices, acai bowls, sandwiches, salads, wraps and more. The business fills the gap for people looking for a meal that is an organic “fast-casual,” said owner Maylissa Ballance.
This is the first location owned by Ballance, who is also a health coach interested in helping serve those with dietary restrictions, food sensitivities and allergies at the restaurant.

For Ballance, the journey to starting the business was personal. After suffering from food sensitivities while pregnant, she wanted to have a place for others who have not been able to enjoy eating out because of their sensitivities to foods, gluten and other allergies.
“I just show up serving as God has intended … for those on a food journey to learn how it heals the body,” she said.
Clean Juice Cool Springs is located at 2000 Meridian Blvd., Suite 12, in Franklin.
On Saturday, April 9, the grand opening was held, and the first 50 customers were gifted Clean Juice for a year.
The locally owned business hopes to employee between 15 to 25 individuals at the new location. Christa Williams in the general manager.
Clean Juice is a faith-based company and partners with former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Tim Tebow as its national ambassador.
